Getting outside is important for our overall health and happiness and exercise should not be a burden emotionally, physically, or financially.
I never thought of myself as being an athlete. Being in good physical shape was not a priority of mine until I fell in love with skiing. I started to think about how I took care of myself so I could perform better. Unfortunately (and fortunately) a series of injuries has led my physical health to be important even beyond skiing. I have found that when I take the time to get strong and move my body I feel better mentally, emotionally and physically.SELECT A PROGRAM
I designed Alpine Start with the idea of helping people find how physical fitness and health can fit into their lives. Take exercise out of the cookie-cutter programs and get down to the nitty-gritty of what will actually help individuals make real changes to their lifestyle.
I am a certified personal trainer through the American Council on Exercise, TRX Certified, have my 200 hour Register Yoga Teacher Certification through the Yoga Center of Seattle and have been coaching athletes for many years on the snow.
